I recorded a fan blowing against a white cloth that kept lifting up to reveal the fan from time to time in a repeated video recording. What is being lifted is the white cloth carrying the projection, which is blowing toward the outside of the projection - that is, toward us. The white cloth in the projected image, however, is floating toward the inside of the projection, in the direction away from us. The two white cloths are in opposite directions, which means that the fan is really "acting" on the white cloth that is carrying the projection. I use the broken cause-effect relationship between the fan and the white cloth to try to ask: Where is the wind coming from?
我用反复录影的方式录制了一个风扇对着白布吹，白布不断掀起，不时露出风扇的场景。不断掀起的是承载投影的白布，它正往投影外部——也即朝向我们的方向吹。投影影像中的白布却在往投影内部飘，在远离我们。两块白布的方向相反，也就是说风扇真正“作用”于的对象是承载投影的白色幕布。我用风扇和白布断裂的因果关系试图提问：风到底是从那里来的？
