A passer-by is invited to take part in a phone interview on a busy street, focusing on their identity and lived experience, while five photographers circle around them and film, creating the illusion that the individual is somehow exceptional or singled out. In fact, the photographers are recording the reactions of people passing by the scene.
I reverse the edited footage and print it frame by frame to produce a flipbook. When flicked through quickly, it resembles a moving video, where the shifting positions of pedestrians form vortex-like trajectories due to the uncanny effect of the reversed motion.
However, only through slow and attentive reading does it become clear that the printed text records what the interviewed passer-by was truly trying to express during the phone conversation.
邀请一位路人在繁忙的街道上接受电话采访（内容围绕它的真实身份和经历），同时让5位摄影师围绕着他拍摄，造成他十分与众不同的假象。实际上摄影师录制的是路过他的旁人的反应。
我把剪辑完成的录像倒放，然后逐帧打印，做成一本手翻书，快速翻阅时就像是播放视频，人们的步行位置变动因为倒放的陌生感形成漩涡状的轨迹。
然而慢慢阅读，才能发现书中文字记录了这位接受电话采访的路人真正想表达的内容。
